
Scott G. Kagen, Senior Talent Acquisition Lead for X8, focuses on “full life cycle” recruiting within the Intelligence Community. Scott works diligently to match candidates to available positions within X8, ensuring the best possible experience for prospective hires and ultimately maximizing fit and retention.
During Scott’s more than 20 years in Information Technology recruiting, he has successfully grown company business (billable revenue) providing consultation throughout the selection process. He has cultivated a passion for helping candidates make the best-informed decision for themselves and their families. He develops and maintains relationships with candidates, leading to future placements and referrals. He has successfully promoted corporate branding through his extensive industry employment network and participation in recruiting events, job fairs and ACAP/TAP presentations. In addition, Scott has trained and mentored junior recruiters.
A proud Veteran of the United States Navy and US Naval Reserves, Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from SUNY Oneonta and a Master of Social Work Degree (MSW) from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. He is an active member of AFCEA and the American Legion.
