Talent Acquisition and Organizational Development Specialist
X8 seeks a well-rounded talent administrator with experience working in the DoD environment to manage corporate business functions and assist in recruiting top talent. The selectee will help shape a supportive and inclusive corporate culture by defining, instituting, and streamlining corporate processes that attract and retain the top talent that defines the X8 brand. They will support a variety of X8 programs helping to organize internal collaboration, professional development, volunteer activities and morale events for the people of X8. The selectee will manage a variety or recruiting processes the firm uses to post jobs, attract applicants and ultimately hire technical experts. The selectee will also work closely with management and employees to promote and advance the X8 Culture, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Attract Great People – Identify key talent and create plans to attract that talent.
Maintain X8’s public-facing presence, such as our LinkedIn and web page; organize regular content development. Recommend improvements and investments in the website.
Collaborate with X8 hiring managers to identify organizational needs and support hiring practices to further business objectives.
Manage, administer, and promote X8’s Skill Bridge Program. Become X8’s Skill Bridge program expert and primary point of contact.
Manage candidate pipeline.
Organize and prep program documentation for intern candidates.
Retain Great People:
Design and execute employee engagement opportunities and assess employee satisfaction.
Organize company events and morale activities.
Organize Internal Growth:
Support executive staff and company leadership in driving organizational effectiveness and developing teams in order to advance the business.
Monitor the administration of established standards and procedures while identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving discrepancies.
Organize and prep internal and external documentation as needed.
Organize quarterly all-hands meetings, act as a moderator, and take notes.
Self-organized. Must be able to track and tackle multiple tasks to success.
At least four years working in the DoD in a personnel related function. Experience in the IC and cyber communities preferred.
Possess excellent management practices, anticipate internal organization issues, propose smart solutions, and represent the employee perspective.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical and non-technical leaders.
Track record of identifying and analyzing key processes. Track record of success with a high degree of autonomy.
This position will involve a mix of remote work and in person work at our headquarters in Hanover, MD.
