X8 is looking for a cleared Cyber Capability Developer to join a federal opportunity supporting USCYBEROM. In this role you will analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. This position is located on-site in Fort Meade, MD.
Position Duties
- Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping in support of our customer.
- Collaborate with headquarters and local customers to develop and integrate cutting-edge CNO tools.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
Position Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years with a bachelor’s degree (System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with an associate degree or HS Diploma.
- Active CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP (DoD 8570/8140 IAT level II certification)
- Must have a current and active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly (minimum) clearance.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $120,000 – $180,000 (depending on experience, education, and other factors)

- 401K: up to 10% 401(k) contribution
